from driving up the tree lined driveway to the end of our stay, we were delighted with Crewe Hall. It cannot be over emphasised what an amazing place this is.

Our room was situated in the new part of the hotel which was slightly disappointing but we had such a good deal, it was a very small issue.

Our room was good sized, very comfortable, clean and had all we required for our stay. We were both surprised how quiet it was too, as we were aware of there being two wedding functions the weekend we stayed.

The dining experience was also very good. I had a very tasty steak, cooked to perfection and my husband loved the calves livers. It was good enough to tempt us to spend both nights eating in.

Breakfast was an incredibly noisy affair and we had a short wait one morning, but the staff worked tirelessly to make out breakfast a pleasant experience and with so many guests to accommodate, they were amazing.

For the cost of our special deal weekend taken into consideration and reduced dining cost, it was overall an excellent weekend stay.

We didn't use the spa... next time!

Stayed here for one night last week, and was impressed with the quality of the room, and the breakfast the following morning. Ample parking, and friendly staff.

we have just returned from a two night stay in crewe hall, we booked two junior suites, both of which were in the main part of the hotel, one of the rooms was in the tower. Wow what a view! From the moment we arrived to leaving, we were given wonderful treatment, we experienced all aspects of the hotel, food, bar, cocktails and spa. The drive to the hotel is very impressive as are the gardens. All in all we would recommend this place to anyone. Even during the week when there are corporate events you never feel that there are many people. We will definately return. Many thanks to all the staff.

Room Tip: rooms in the old part of the hotel are lovely

We found a late deal to spend two nights here on a trip to Cheshire, and Crewe Hall ticked all the boxes in terms of four-star comfort and facilities.

Most of the rooms are in a fairly run-of-the mill modern extension to the old hall, but they are well furnished and very quiet. The grounds are pleasant, as are the many squirrels and rabbits who inhabit them!

As for food, the Brasserie is over-priced and has no character and, given that there are no other restaurants within walking distance, guests should only consider staying at Crewe Hall if they are travelling by car. Otherwise they will spend a lot of money on food, in a fairly unremarkable restaurant.

Four of us went to Crewe Hall on the one night spa package. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and our rooms were a good size and nice- although they can get warm during the night and the air con can take a while to get going! The evening meal and lunch included in our package were delicious, and the cocktails at the bar went down very well. We did have to ask for the 'rotating bar' to be rotated so we got the full experience, and the bar staff obliged! The spa was nice and our therapists were all good, and the pool area was quiet even though it was a Saturday on a bank holiday. It made a real difference that whenever you saw a staff member, even just in passing, they greeted you with a smile and a warm "hello"- excellent customer service! I'd advise you to leave at least ten minutes to get to the spa from your room, as the hotel is deceptively large and it took us longer than we thought.
Overall, a great place to have a relaxing pamper break with the girls in a lovely location.

returned from spa break - again. Greeted at reception by out standing, friendly, staff, who are in no rush to explain things, and delighted to show us around the fantastic hotel if needed. Served by Patricia at lunch time and breakfast a delightful girl, made us feel very relaxed and brilliant service. Evening meal our waitress was Victoria, she went over and above with her service, extremely helpful, and nothing was too much trouble for her. In all a mosy enjoyable stay at
Crewe hall, we wondered around the fantastic old rooms and breathtaking decor. relaxed in the spa and pool, cant wait to go back again --- its heaven.

My husband was gobsmacked by the approach up to the 'stately home' that is Crewe Hall hotel .. he thought we had arrived at an NT property! It was a ''surprise' 2 night break for our 26 wedding anniversary that I aranged. The old part fo the hotel is truly stunning and ornate and the modern part really stylish and contemporary. All the staff we encountered were superb in customer servie and nothing was too much trouble .... the reception staff were exceptional and Sue the housekeeper was very helpful indeed. All of them went out of their way to make the guest experience the best ever! We really appreciated that.

No hesitation in recommending this incredibly well run hotel whatsoever and it is on our list for returning too, with our friends in the near future.

Room Tip: Choose a room in the modern part of the hotel for the Summer months as has very good air-conditionin...
