the hotel is in a nice area looking over the canal , the hotel its self is well designed and has nice big rooms and facilities(swimming pool, restruant,Bar) the only problem i had was the reception gave a couple our key card by mistake so they weren't very organised plus one of the hotel staff looked like a sloth so that was off putting ,the room had a large amount of free space , the beds are really comfortable and so are the selected pillows. the only problem was the bathroom tap water tasted like it was from the canal , i was nearly sick brushing my teeth , but overall it was good

Room Tip: the rooms outside the stairs or lift are noisy

£64.00 per night for a comfortable, air-conditioned room is a good deal.
Efficient bathroom, very cosy bed and everything you need on tap, makes this hotel a sensible place to stay if you are in this area. Things work here and you won't need to complain that there's no hot water at one o'clock in the morning. House-keeping is excellent and rooms are spotless. If I wanted to nit-pick, I'd recommend that
towels are tumble-dried in order to avoid that "raspy" feel, but a good hotel at a good price.

2nd visit to this quiet friendly hotel on the edge of canal. Were delighted to be able to watch a rugby match on the large televison in the hotel lounge. Children loved the swimming pool and our meal at the restaurant was excellent with the staff ready to help us with any queries we had.Would definitely return again. Cheshire Oaks five minutes away with bowling, cinema, shopping and plenty of eating out places with children. Ideal location for short break.

Typical mid price hotel. Neither good nor bad. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Bar souless, but ok although service was a bit slow even though not busy. Food ok, but nothing special. Rooms good and clean. Ideal for a short stay business trip.Nothing much to report really. Yet another average hotel.
