From arriving at the Andersen Boat base in Middlewich you are received by a member of the family as a friend and made welcome. The boats are kept in immaculate condition and are well appointed and are easy to handle with help given if required to negotiate the first three locks.
When cruising the boats always stand out amongst the many other hire boats.
All in all if you wish to hire a boat on the canals start with an Andersen at Middlewich.

We have been on several narrow boating holidays in the past, once before with Andersens, which is why we chose them again this time. We were introducing relatives to "narrow boating" and knew that we could rely on Andersens to supply good clean craft with everything included (all kitchen equipment, bedding, hair dryer, iron, TV etc - even a complimentary bottle of wine and a vase of roses). Andersens' location is also excellent, giving a number of different routes to choose from. We will be booking with them again.

We have just recently returned from a trip on Andersen boats and had a fantastic time, our boat was very well equipped although we did have to bring one or two extra bottles of wine a fact that was commented on jokingly by the owners, i think they fancied an invite!!, they were terrific and very helpful, and included a big wind up on myself on our return (advise... if you drop your camera in the canal do not let the staff know LOL!!)
The whole experience was one we will never forget, we done the Shropshire Union which we found easy as beginners and after a little training we were on our way.
The boat was very clean and well ordered and had everything that we needed, i would have no problem whats so ever recommending this company.
