“Good spot for North West cities”
Reviewed 25 May 2014 via mobile

I have stayed here a couple of times most recently in May 2014 whilst visiting family in the area. I often choose to stay in this hotel as it offers everything you would expect from a Premier Inn; it's immaculately clean, comfortable, has ample parking and quite. Although it is not the best hotel in the area, I would recommend the Cottons hotel in nearby Knutsford if you are after the full hotel package, it represents good value for money. If you keep your eye out you can get some good deals which represent outstanding value for money.

I would recommend taking the Premier Inn breakfast, which is served in the attached Woodpecker pub/bar. The food was great, lots of choice and the service was fantasic; really friendly and happy to help. Testament to how good the breakfast is was the number of locals who come in to enjoy a hassle free cooked breakfast.

I would also recomend the Woodpecker for an evening meal, you can get a decent meal at a very reasonable price. That said, if you are prepared to travel a little further afield there are some wonderful country pubs in the surrounding area.

On the whole, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable base where you can get a decent breakfast, reasonable evening meal and not looking to pay over the odds; Premier Inn Northwich South would not be a bad place to stay, it ticks all the boxes.

Just returned from a two day stay at this Premier Inn, due to the close proximity to Oulton Park circuit. This place is split in to two different buildings, We stayed in the new building , and have to say looks the part, room comes complete with large wall mounted flat screen TV would say 32 or 40 inch. With a socket on the wall for HDMI plug, Audio socket and USB socket to plug in to, hope this is going to be the norm as places get the upgrade. Very quiet although at a road junction , only saw two ladies on reception during our stay , both really polite and helpful, small niggle though, no air con, leaving the room really warm if windows shut, No other complaints, the original building is attached to the pub a few strides across a paved walkway as is the adjoining pub. A pleasant five minute walk away, you come across another pub and a mini Tesco, Pizza Hut and Chinese all in a small mall, which is convenient.
Will return again without question, The Kingfisher pub attached is spot on, great food and reasonably priced with two for £10 deals while kids eat for £3.49, the bonus of a small play area for the kids which you can see from the pub, so you can relax inside while the kids play out, there are also tables outside to eat and drink should the weather be good enough.

Room Tip: Nothing wrong with the other part of the Inn , but would prefer the new building

very good premier inn we where in the annex and the rooms had just been updated very well only thing missing in the rooms are phones so you cannot contact reception, the breakfast i'm sure is lovely but we don't want a big breakfast and you cannot just have toast or bacon butty so for us £8 95 was to much to pay,but the dinner is very good value £10 for two before 6 30

This Premier Inn was superb, great rooms, spacious clean and comfortable.
They have a play area attached to the Brewers Fayre pub, superb for younger children. Breakfast was very good value, food at the pub for dining was good for a chain pub. However, it was the staff that stand out. They were all outstanding, couldn't have been more helpful, pleasant and made our stay very enjoyable. Have rated sleep quality only very good as near fire station, so expect some disruption if there is a need for the fire services, but that is only brief.

What you expect from a premier inn Friendly staff - good service and food in the resaurant and great value too! We stayed for business but took kids and the room was plenty big enough with a big tv on the wall - only downside is the rooms were a little stuffy! Reastaurant was busy buit we still had great food and was great value

I stayed at this Premier Inn this week for two nights with a group of colleagues on a course. I found the hotel to be fantastic value.

There is plenty of safe parking and check in was fast and informative. Over at my room everything was in tip top order and extremely clean. I don't know how the cleaners get the bathroom that clean - it looked brand new. Everything in the room was spot on. The black out curtains worked fine, the bed was good, all the lights worked fine as did the kettle. I was impressed by the violet up lighter above the bed head board - nice touch. The TV was a 32" (I think) flat screen Samsung with a panel at the desk which allowed me to connect HDMI, USB and audio devices to play through the TV - brilliant idea!

The breakfast was good. Buffet style for cereals, fruit, toast and croissants with waitress service for the cooked breakfast.

All in all I cannot fault anything with this hotel. I had a good stay for 2 nights.

Can't rate this hotel high enough. The staff were extremely helpful, especially the lady who checked us in, she was aware that we were staying at the hotel for a funeral and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, her obvious compassion made a big difference to our stay. The late checkout was superb too!
