We got married at Nunsmere Hall in June 2013.
It was absolutely perfect and the staff and management made the run up and the day an absolute pleasure.
We had a big wedding of 180 people and we got married outdoors in their beautiful gardens.
The reception and evening do were in the marquee which was fabulous.
Stephanie, their wedding coordinator, made the planning stress free, she was always on hand to discuss things, and on the day it ran without a hitch.
The bar and waiting staff were great and really looked after all of our guests.
All the rooms at Nunsmere are lovely and the facilities were spot on over the weekend. We had exclusive use, which I can highly recommend, as it meant we had the run of the bar, library room, living rooms and gardens for our guests to enjoy and take photographs.
Last but not least, the food, for 180 people, was fantastic. Chef did us proud. The canapés, the wedding breakfast, and evening hog roast were all excellent, and the presentation was of the highest standard. It really was fine dining.
We can highly recommend getting married at Nunsmere, or having your reception there. It was perfect and we will definitely visit in future to stay overnight and go to the Crystal restaurant x

Having stayed at Nunsmere Hall 3 times it's safe to say we like it there! The rooms are large and traditional. The grounds are beautiful but the best part of this hotel is the restaurant. The food was truly wonderful and the desert was one the best I have had. Staff are helpful and the porter man is a true gem. Get some new floorboards and it'd be perfect as you can hear every clunking footstep! I would recommend to all couples looking for a little bit of luxury.

My daughter married her fiance at Nunsmere in mid-June, using the marquee attached to the main building. It was a wonderful day in every respect, other than our British weather, which was mixed. However the hotel staff, particularly Stephanie,Keeley Jonathan and Craig did us proud.A lot of planning from these members of staff and ourselves came together flawlessly. The preraration and quality of every course of the wedding breakfast was superb and Craigs food was a highlight on a day of highlights ! The bedrooms were excellent and contrary to other reviews we were in no way disappointed with any aspect of our stay at Nunsmere. All the staff involved were very good and nothing seemed to be a problem. We are fairly fussy people in respect of cleanliness and staff demeanour but we could not say other than we were very happy with all aspects of our stay and would highly recommend Nunsmere to any prospective bride and groom.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the gardens were our favourites.

This small Country House is beautiful and was the perfect setting for our daughter' Wedding this month; as soon as you walk through the front door you feel at home amongst comfortable surroundings and friendly staff. Our bedroom was huge and beautifully decorated, packed full of little extra's that make a stay easy. The gardens are stunning with plenty of scenic photo opportunities including a lovely 'Japanese' style bridge over a small pond full of Koi Carp.
Breakfast and all the food provided throughout the wedding was fantastic - it could not be faulted.
We had an absolutely wonderful time and will return for a weekend break at some point.

Room Tip: Each room is individual and a high standard, and all have a lovely view. take your pick!!

Despite the awful mattress and frustrating internet, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous country manor, which is elegantly decorated and set in a massive estate with beautiful gardens surrounded by a lake. Our room was enormous and luxurious. Breakfast was excellent and served in the lovely dining room that looks out onto the gardens. They have two dogs that you can take for a walk when exploring the massive grounds. There is ample parking. We loved staying here and are sorry that we only spent one night. We hope to come again. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night - this very special hotel should be enjoyed for a few days. This is a great place for a wedding. The photos tell the truth.

Room Tip: i think that all the rooms are good. Peaceful location, some have a better view of the garden.

We went here for a one night stay on our anniversary having been here many years ago. The Building is magnificent and the grounds and garden equally as lovely with a beautiful lake surrounding it but I felt rather disappointed with the tiredness of the rooms. Our room was a four poster and the room itself was huge but the decor was very dated with peeling wallpaper, black mould in the shower and one of the panes in the window was cracked. We had a 5 course taster menu which was not really a taster menu and rather more a 5 course meal. The food was ok but by no means amazing and the sweets were lovely. I wanted to love this beautiful place but i left feeling sadly disappointed

We arrived and the place looks amazing. We booked in and felt that this hotel was very luxurious. The staff are amazing really friendly and nice. They even have dogs you can sign out to walk!
The rooms were very expensive but for something that nice its ok. However I expected more they were ok but didn't blow me away somethings didn't work fully so ok but not great. We went to the bar and I nearly died. £5 a pint! Nice beer but to much. Overall a nice place just take a hip flask
