“Fabulous Place to Stay”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

We were all impressed and delighted with our stay at New Hall Farm B & B. I booked rooms for my mum and sister and for me and my husband to stay after a recent family wedding at Peckforton Castle.

Everything was great - lovely, comfortable spacious rooms, clean and very tastefully decorated. Good English breakfast. Helpful, pleasant and friendly hosts.

Highly recommended.

We stayed for one night at New Hall Farm while on a trip to Cheshire.
Everything about our stay was a joy, from the warm welcome with tea and home made cake to the excellent breakfast.
The room was warm, quiet, spacious and the bed comfortable. Ensuite bathroom of a very high standard with good quality towels and lotions.
Breakfast was of a high quality with an ample choice to suit every taste, from fruit and cereals a good choice of teas and freshly brewed coffee to the "full english" with extra supplies of warm toast and marmalade for those who can manage "a bit more."
Biscuits, tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplies in our room are another example to show that Joanne and David have "pulled out all the stops" to make a stay in their home a most enjoyable experience.
I would highly recommend New Hall Farm to any visitor.

We found New Hall Farm on line when looking for accommodation in Tarporley when going to the British Super Bikes at Oulton Park and on turning up we was made feel most welcome by Joanne. The house was very clean and tidy the room was gorgeous, big room in size very clean and massive en suite bathroom very well laid out and the bed was very comfy, the breakfast was out of this world all you would ever need and perfectly cooked would always come back when in this area.

A fantastic one night stay in this newly done up and very attractive old house in Tarporley, Cheshire. Joanne was kind and helpful; the rooms were large, spotless, warm and very comfortable. We stayed in the double room with a bath (separate shower cubicle) and I would recommend this as it was lovely to sink into a massive piping hot bath (that filled up really quickly) after a long day. Having said that, the shower is brilliant too - really powerful (although could have been marginally hotter - but only if you favour very hot showers.) The breakfast options were impressively extensive - orange and apple juices; grapefruit and fruit salad, two types of yoghurt, four kinds of cereal, plus muesli, and every variation on the full english. Delicious and locally sourced sausages etc. Would absolutely come back to stay. And while I'm at it, would massively recommend the Yew Tree, a smart pub just a mile down the road in Bunbury Village. Very very impressive menu and extremely friendly staff. You can walk there from the B&B too - but take a torch for the walk back!

Stayed in this wonderful B & B for just one night but will definitely be returning.
After parking in the gravel drive of this beautiful Victorian farmhouse, we were shown to our beautiful, spacious twin room and Joanne then prepared us a lovely pot of tea with tasty coffee cake.
Our room was immaculately clean and tasteful decorated with very comfortable beds and crisp cotton sheets. There was tea, hot chocolate, coffee and biscuits provided, as well as the usual t.v and hair-dryer. Next door was our bathroom which was enormous, with shower, bath and Bayliss & Harding soaps and gels provided. The shower was enormous and suitably powerful.
Downstairs was the guest's lounge, with t.v, roaring wood fire, comfy chairs, books and area guides.
Our breakfast was taken in the dining room and was fit for a king, with cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, toast as well as a full English, juices and tea/coffee. It kept us going for the rest of the day.
The B & B accommodation is set out in the main area of the farmhouse and our friendly hosts, David and Joanne live in a beautifully designed extension to the 1878 building. There appeared to be 2 x double ensuite bedrooms and 1 twin with private bathroom for guests. A quick peak into one of the doubles showed them to be of equally high standard to our own.
We were visiting Reaseheath College in nearby Nantwich but wanted somewhere quiet nearby and this fitted the bill. We booked through Expedia and our only worry was when the Tom Tom took us down the long country lane leading to the B & B but then abandoned us before reaching our destination - Expedia didn't give us a contact number - but we continued down the lane and eventually found it.

Room Tip: Please note that the twin room has a separate bathroom.

This is a great B&B in the quiet Cheshire countryside. This lovely Victorian farmhouse was extensively updated in 2013 to an exceptional standard, retaining all the Victorian features but with a contemporary twist.

I stayed in their twin bed room, which is a huge, light and airy room with 2 wonderfully comfortable twin beds with crisp linens and a cosy duvet. Next door was my private full bathroom with large walk in shower and bath. Travetine tiled walls and floor with underfloor heating. Large, soft bath towels made this stay a quality experience - wonderful.

I was at an event on Friday and Saturday and needed breakfast at 07:45am, which was no problem for Joanne and what a great breakfast it was. Full English, good range of quality cerials, fresh fruit salad (different both days), fresh fruits, unlimited toast and home made jams and honey.

Overall, a B&B of exceptional quality in a superb country location.

If you are towing a trailer, don't go up the drive - there is nowhere to turn round and the curves in the drive make it impossible to back up. David will sort you out somewhere to park.

Beautiful. Peaceful. Just what I needed for the four nights on a week long training in Nantwich. Classy! Both the hosts, extremely polite and helpful. Very well converted farmhouse. Slightly away from the town - get dinner before you come. High speed data network would probably be unavailable. Wifi available. Breakfast, plenty of options; high quality food. Well stocked tea/coffee table. Confortable night's sleep. Absolutely top class everything that you expect from a 3star B&B. No farm animals or dogs.
