“Lovely cottage”

Me and my partner stayed here over a weekend in September. We could not fault it in any way, the cottage was amazing, even nicer than the pictures, we were more than happy to spend time inside than go out! Everything was of a high standard, immaculately clean and homely with very thoughtful touches, like a pint of milk, wine and chocolates left in the fridge for our arrival. Karen greeted us and showed us round, she was very welcoming and told us about the local area. The cottage is situated near the centre of Penrith, about 5 minutes drive away from supermarkets and shops. We will definitely return one day and we are recommending to our friends and family. P.S where is the sofa in the kitchen from?! We loved it!

Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable with everything you would need. Amazing garden with view over the river. Karen was very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions we had via messaging.

Well located within walking distance to Penrith and local pub a stones throw away.

Would highly recommend Beckside Cottage!

“Fantastic! Thoroughly recommend”
Reviewed 13 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This is one of the nicest holiday cottages we have stayed in. Everything about it was just lovely. The interior is very high spec and so comfy. Every little detail has been thought of and supplied. I would thoroughly recommend. We had a very warm welcome from the owner who walked us through how things worked which was great.

The garden is lovely and the river Earmont flows along the bottom. The weather conspired that we didn't get a lot of chance to use it which was a shame so we'll definitely return and hopefully get better weather next time!

Every home comfort is provided but the cottage still has it's 17th century character and is quite quirky which we loved.

There are two pubs within 5 minutes walk (We only ate at one - the Beehive which was OK) and Penrith about 15 mins walk where there is an ample choice. Three supermarkets within easy driving distance. Tho it is quite near a main road you'd not know.

Remember to take towels! We forgot so many thanks Karen for providing spare ones!
