My husband and i stayed for one night on the 2nd July and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was beautiful and relaxing with an amazing bathroom. Hazel is a lovely lady and made us feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Our cream tea in the Tea room was lovely and breakfast was wonderfull cooked to perfection. We will be back to try the hot tub!

We have just had the most wonderful holiday at this beautiful hotel. Set in a stunning, quiet and peaceful valley, the house is beautifully and most comfortably furnished to the highest standards. Hazel, our charming hostess, ensured we had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Looking through other reviews, I cannot believe anyone could accuse Hazel of being greedy (review a couple of weeks ago) - her prices are comparable and in fact cheaper than many such places. Hazel is generous to a fault and made it her mission to ensure that we had a really lovely time, breakfasts are huge, and the home cooked evening meals far surpass many I have had elsewhere. Fortunately one silly revieiwer's comments are put into context when you read all the others and their glowing comments which are a true reflection of this glorious place.

This was our our 4th visit to New House Farm & we're already planning our 5th. It's a lovely 17th century country house tucked away in idyllic settings. We love the 1.4 mile stroll to the Inn in the evening & the stunning views each time we wake.
We love it here so much we returned for 5 nights for our honeymoon.
If you like walks, views, peace & comfort then you will love it here.

Room Tip: We will try the Lowfell room next - with views to the front of the farm although the Whiteside room...
