“Sweet but attracts mixed visitors”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 April 2014 via mobile

Nice place but playground like a zoo on a weekend so be warned!! This isn't a middle England spot if you know what I mean, not your standard National trust fare.

Children enjoyed it which is the main thing.

Also it is very muddy, drainage issues

“Lovely”

Lovely place to walk along by the lake whatever the weather. Having mass tree felling work due to disease so does look a little sad but work being done very carefully.

“Lovely Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 November 2013

Beautiful views over the lake and enormous park with all sorts to do. There kayaks etc available to hire but we were stretched for time nevertheless we enjoyed ourselves. There's even an area to set up your own barbeque! Great for a day out with family or friends.

“Lake side park”

Enjoyed a short stroll by the lake before embarking up Guimmers How. Car park is expensive and the cafe wasn;t open, but otherwise a lovely location

“Great Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 October 2013

visited many times seen the park in many seasons, the spring in lovely, the summer very nice but in autumn the colours are gorgeous. There is a playground, gift shop cafe and lots of clean toilets. The views over Lake Windermere are fab. The car park is spacious and well maintained.
