Having stayed at the Buttermere YHA -I thought the view there was pretty amazing....but YHA Wastwater beats that! At breakfast time, we would rotate who got to face the captivating view out of the dining room window! Great way to start the day.
Breakfast was filling and and necessary for a day of walking.
Rooms were clean and warm. Pillows and duvet were fluffy and maybe new? Slept really well.
Showers were clean and warm. Didn't have to queue at all.
Good drying room - plenty of space.
Staff and Geoff were very friendly.
The actual building and grounds were clearly well looked after and quite special.
Thank you for everything.
