We stayed in room No. 8 - a twin room - ground floor overlooking the beautiful river estuary - a nicely furnished room - very comfortable beds and bathroom - spotless clean. The breakfast was delicious - for every taste - very good service, and the owner Neil is a very nice host and always helpful.
We enjoyed the days in Ravenglass very much. Thank you!

We were recommended the Rosegarth by the lady in the also brilliant Ratty Inn, by the rail station in the picturesque seaside/estuary village of Ravenglass.

We stayed in a family room, (seven) at the top of the stairs. An en suite double room, with two additional single beds in a smaller room attached. All fixtures and fittings appeared new, and the beds and bedding was crisp and clean.

I would have no problems recommending Rose Garth to any visitor to Ravenglass.

I arrived early but was greeted with a smile and shown to my room which I have to say was fantastic, spotlessly clean and great views across the estuary. Neil is a great host and helped me out with an early breakfast. Keep up the good work

We stopped off for lunch at Ravenglass after a stroll on Seascale beach and had a wonderful lunch sitting outside on the porch in the summer sunshine! Rosegarth are dog friendly and allowed us to bring the dogs into the seating area and stay underneath the tables.

We had simple salads, which were heaped up with nice fresh and crunchy ingredients, we also finished off with ice creams after lunch and the portions were very generous, see the photo!

Having viewed the rooms we are planning to head back to Ravenglass and try the accommodation at Rosegarth this summer as it has its own sheltered beach area and is a perfect spot to enjoy a quiet long weekend off the beaten track.

Room Tip: Take a room facing the front as these have the afternoon sunshine!

The detail was well done here. Good rooms, excellent shower, great breakfast, good tasty tea in the room and VERY clean.
Neil and his team have made this a very well run place.
Great views over the estuary and very handy for the Ratty railway.

Room Tip: Good travel links by the rail system The twin room by the door (room 8) is great for elderly or tho...

Just returned from a 1 night stay at this lovely b&b..we booked the twin room and a double room for the night, both rooms were lovely and very clean... the showers in the bathroom were very powerful and plenty of hot water.. fantastic views over the water from room 6... plenty of tea/coffee/water in the room. Walking distance to the 'ratty arms' where we had a lovely meal. breakfast in the morning was delicious and plentiful. Would certainly stay here again.

We had an amazing time at this guesthouse. Neil was a great host literally going the extra mile by driving us to the nearby garage when our car broke down. Amazing breakfasts and sea views. We would come back anytime.
