"Normal pick up time is 4.30pm ... If you are running late or would like to change your pickup time you are welcome to phone your hosts throughout the day." That was written by our booking agent. When my wife phoned the evening before to say we would be later, Peter demanded to know exactly when we would arrive to be picked up for the five mile drive to the B&B. As we were walking 17 miles, across two mountains and bogs of unknown length or depth, it was hard to say. My wife compromised on 6.15. We actually arrived at 5.15. In trepidation my wife phoned to see if we could be collected earlier. She spoke to Karen, who was charming (not just then but throughout) and who said we would be collected in 15 minutes, which we were. Peter wasted no time letting us know that if we'd told him we were arriving at 5.15 he could have had another fare at 6.30 so he'd lost out on £25; he both runs a taxi and he and Karen run the B&B. That said, the B&B is, as others have written, luxurious. The towels were beautifully soft and large and there were face cloths, which is a lovely and uncommon touch.
