The rooms were clean and neat. But the hotel had seen better days and the decor was a bit dated. The staff were courteous and the food was average. The area around the hotel is very scenic and there are a few trails one can take for a nice long walk. We did try out a few of the walking trails and took some lovely photographs as the area was very lush and green. Overall a pleasant stay and good value for money.

We had quite a nice stay in this hotel. It's older, but very charming and comfortable, and it even has an elevator.

The mattresses were a little springy, but we slept well, and our room was clean and spacious. We ate both dinner and breakfast here, and the food was quite nice and plentiful. When we stayed there was some live polka music in the lobby which was entertaining several tour bus loads of pensioners on holiday, and we couldn't help but smile when they all sang along to some old folk songs. We were on the second floor and weren't bothered at all by any noise.

The grounds are very pretty, and my 5 year old daughter had great fun running around near the stream. Watch out at dusk, however due to the biting flies. We loved that our GPS told us to drive "off road" to get to this hotel.

We really appreciated the complimentary WIFI, but breakfast included would have been a nice touch.

We stayed here for 4 nights bed, breakfast and dinner. The hotel was very pleasant, food of a good standard - 3 courses with choice of menu. Room was comfortable although very hot but it was a hot week. Only complaint we had was that the temperature on the shower was difficult to control. Lovely wooded grounds with red squirrels running around. All staff were friendly and efficient particularly the manager, Julian. Would definitely re-visit.
