We have just had a three night stay at Seacote. Lovely position on the headland with great views of the sea. Hotel a little dated especially the dreary sports bar! The rooms were clean and serviced daily with ample tea and coffee supplies. We did have a few issues with our breakfast which arrived cold and we had to send it back! There were two coaches in the hotel and it seemed that they were treated better than us, we shouldn't have to make sure that we get the correct menu, surely that is the job of the staff. Don't think that we will be returning to the hotel in the future

Average rooms with bath and shower. Not all rooms have a seaview so would advise to request one when booking.Food is great especially the soups.Plenty to eat.Packed lunch is great value for value.Bar prices reasonable.

Room Tip: Request a seaview.

We went for a short break but will definitely return as soon as possible.
the situation of the Hotel is spectacular with views of the Irish sea.The welcome we received was warm and friendly nothing was too much trouble and it reminded us of holidays in Ireland before
the Euro.Good value for money choice of home cooked meals ...breakfast incredible beautiful bacon my partner chose the kipper and got a huge plate full. All portions were very generous.
The staff all deserve a mention but we will limit it to Mary who is a figure head and amazing lady.
She should stick to hospitality and not spend so long behind the bar. She is a treasure.
Dawn the duty manager was just superb and runs tight ship. The friendly banter led to all the clients chatting to each other and it was so good to be in a busy hotel. We spend a lot of time for work in hotels without atmosphere and with few guests so this was truly a breathe of fresh sea air

Room Tip: Room 119 spectacular views

Whilst in the Lake District we went to check out St Bees. Whilst here we popped into the Seacote hotel for lunch. What a nice surprise to find the staff so helpful, the food so tasty and all great value for money.

The hotel was clean, warm and looked like parts had been newly painted. The staff were pleasant and welcoming especially the Duty Manager who went out of her way to deal with a matter for us.Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked to order. The location is beautiful, right by the Irish Sea.For a 2* hotel I would recommend the Seacote.I have stayed in higher starred hotels in the UK and abroad and some were not as good as the Seacote.I would happily do a return visit were we in the area again.

This hotel is situated in a beautiful spot, however it is very dated, could do with some investment to bring it into the 21st century. The bedding and rooms were clean and the staff were all excellent and friendly, especially duty manager Carol who sorted out our problem with our room and moved us to a more suitable one. love to return to this hotel if it was given a good makeover

Had a Wonderful Stay, Hotel does seem a tad dated, but the Hotel Staff make up for the stay,
the were so Welcoming, so friendly, anything you asked was never a chore for them, we had a slight issue but we got our Seaview room sort, it was only £60 a Night, and had a wonderful nights sleep, amazing Breakfast, and had food ordered from the Bar, everything was brilliant. If your looking for a quiet Seaside Town, with nothing, no shops, just Beach and Cliff walks then this is a great Location. Your only 25 minutes from the Beautiful Wast Water, I am definitely going back. We went to Whitehaven about 15 mins up the road a lovely Harbour Town, look for Zest the little restaurant, they do great fab for fiver deals, and everything is superbly fresh!

Room Tip: ask for a seaview room!
