I love St. Bees tea and crumpets to start the morning off or afternoon as was in our case. We met with friends there were 8 of us and the service and food was great. The waitress was fast and had a good memory. A very pleasant cafe.

Thank Lynn F

Great place to visit take a walk along the cliff tops for about 1 mile really nice and take a camera some nice views well worth the visit. The beach is made up of large pebbles when the tide is out it,s a nice walk south along on the sand towards Callerton and nethertown village.

I love this beach, and we always make a trip here when we are in the area. It's a lovely clean beach, and very accessible from the ample car park. Some beaches are a long walk from the car park, but this one isn't. There are lavatory facilities, and a shop. I wouldn't use the shop for groceries, as it is grossly overpriced, but it's nice for cakes, ice creams etc, and has a cafe.

Thank psandcs

The coast at St Bees, Cumbria is wonderful. It is a little out of the way being tucked at the top left hand corner of the Lake District but the scenery is amazing. The wild Atlantic rolls in on a clean sandy beach with good cliff path walking. The little village is very pretty too. There is a caravan site and hotel nearby. The hotel needs refurbishment and facilities perhaps a little more TLC but it had everything for a good day out. I watched Ravens from the cliff path early morning, it was magic.
There is plenty of car parking and areas to sit.
