“Scrummy take away Thai food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 November 2013

The take away food is really tasty and very reasonably priced. It was prepared really quickly and tasted very fresh. You can see into the kitchen whilst they are preparing the food which makes a nice change. Highly recommended.

“olde is apt - traditional trea room 1950's style”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 September 2013

It's down a back street in Ulverston and yes, it's cheap and cheerful. It has your proper 'olde English' meat and two veg menu, which is both endearing and appetizing. The portions are good, it's like your Mum used to make kind of stuff. Staff are (when I went) to be frank, old, pleasant and set in a timewarp, where you will 'get it when you get it'. Don't expect fast food here : we're talking basics that won't be rushed. And there will be NO apologies for that.
Not my 1st choice to eat in Ulverston but there is an endearing, very basic, charm that makes you want to go there so it dosen't close down.

“Thai Restaurant a Nightn Excellent value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 September 2013

he lady who runs the place at night is fromTemple Thai which was closed recently in Ulverston. During the day the present owners use the restaurant. Tuesday to Saturday it is run by Bea and her 2 young daughters offering Thai Cuisine either eat in or take away.

Authentic and fantastic value for money and whilst difficult to find well worth the trouble.

Make sure you visit, yo will not be disappointed.Cheap wines are available although little choice.

Perhaps a little Thai music would be beneficial
