This is an absolutely lovely pub, great for a post-walk/bike beer, and for tasty food. We popped in for some lunch (clucky pie and a fishfinger sandwich - both delicious) and a beer, and liked it so much we didn't move for the rest of the afternoon. It was lovely, relaxed place to spend a few hours enjoying some ales and reading, and the staff were all extremely friendly. We liked it so much we booked a table for the next evening before we left. The food was again of a very high standard (cow pie and rack of ribs), and very satisfying. It was quickly served (very welcome after a day of mountain biking) even though the pub was busy with lots of families. We went because it was the only pub in the village, but what a great place to discover - we will be back!
