Starting point for Cumbria Way walk this summer.
Given a warm welcome and info on where to eat. Had an excellent meal at Farmers Arms.
Rooms were OK, shower a bit small. Lovely Victorian House. Big choice of fruit and cereals and excellent full English, shame about no Black Pudding,
We certainly didn't need much lunch on our long walk to Conniston.
Would not hesitate to stay again
