We had the family room with separate bathroom. The bathroom was huge and very clean! It had a huge walk in shower with separate bath. The bedroom was the same - very spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was delicious, would stay here again!

Really can't rate this B&B Highly enough, we were there as we were attending a family wedding with other members of the family. Rooms were spotless, breakfast amazing and Janet and John were a lovely couple, will certainly recommend, thank you

Room Tip: We had room 2, fantastic Wi Fi access

Stayed at this hotel over night when going to a wedding close by. Were greeted in a warm and friendly manner and nothing was too much trouble for them. Enjoyed a slap up English breakfast and put us right after a big day and night out. Would definitly recommend it for hospitality and food. Little bit off the beaten track would need some form of transport if visiting the area. Also have a caravan park and let challets out. Can't comment on these as we didn't use those facilitys but if the B&B is anything to go by I don't think there will be a problem.

Room Tip: only said location average as you would need a car to get around. Room 2 had squeeky floor boards bu...

We received a friendly welcome. The room was a good size, with modern decor and bathroom facilities. A guest lounge is also available.
The quality of the local produce used for the breakfast was clearly evident. We enjoyed watching the chickens outside during breakfast!

We have camped on many a nice site......but this one beats them all. The shower block and toilets are nicer than some hotels we have stayed in and just to have that little bit of heat at night when you need to go to the toilet was awesome. The full site was very clean and tidy and sitting watching all the birds in the long grass made it a worthwhile visit. We were able to look in one of the cabin windows (as the people left early) and they looked fab. We will certainly go back again and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Wallace Lane Farm is the perfect choice for exploring the northern region of the Lake District. We stayed in one of the wooden cabins and they are perfect for an evening retreat after a hard day fell-walking. Sitting on the west-facing patio watching the sunset each day was so nice. The toilet and shower block were always clean and well maintained. Now and again the owner's friendly dog comes and says hi too. :) A short drive away is the village of Caldbeck which is probably the most picturesque village in the lakes. We are already thinking of going back on our next holiday.

This is by far one of the best, if not the best site we have stayed on in the Lake District (you will see from my other reviews I have stayed on a few). Only a few minutes drive to the not so well known Laked District village of Caldbeck (Just at the foot of Skiddaw) which has a beautiful river walk, a serene churh yard and it has a few small cafes and gift shops, it is also at the foot of Skiddaw so the views are breath taking around the village. 20 mins to Bassenthwaite and 30 to Keswick. The Camp Site itself is very well maintained, has very clean facilities and the owners are very friendly. We have a well behaved Border Terrier that loved the short walks around the site and getting acquainted with some of the animals on the farm and some of the other dogs he met. An excellent Experience overall, we will be back and may even consider a stay in the lodges next time. Cannot Recomend this site enough for Position, Location and Facilities. Thank you to the owners of Wallace Lane Farm for making our us very welcome.
