We stayed here for the start of the Hadrian's wall walk. We were met at the door by Gillian a rather strict lady, who's first words were "shoes are not allowed in the house". Her husband was much more chatty at breakfast the next day. That said the rooms were adequate, but we had to share the bathroom/ toilet with 4 others. Rooms were small but clean. However it was cold and there was no heating in the rooms or bathroom.
Breakfast was adequate. The best thing about the place was the view from the dining room over Solway Firth.
