Great park. We stayed here for one week in lodge 64. Great view from the deck of the lodge. After 2 days in an other (bad location) we came back for another 5 days in lodge 7 (close to the playarea). We felt at home at Sandybrook. Clean lodges, clean park, friendly people (Sandra, Amanda, Aaron and all other people of Sandybrook) thanks for the great time at your place.

We stayed both times in a Kedleston Elite 2 lodge. The double bed is a little small, but that makes it cosy. The lodges are well equipped and we found no malfunctions or what so ever. The hot tub is cleaned and checked everyday. On arrival there is a package with tea and coffee and also cleaning materials are available in the lodge.

The staff at the receptions is very friendly and helpfull. Aaron of the entertainment program is a great guy. Even when our kids were the only ones he made a great program for them. During the waterwalkerz our son of 6 was the only one twice. Aaron let him walk till our son was to tiered to go on.

One tip. There are two buxton roads in the area according to our satnav and we picked the wrong one and ended up in the middle of nowhere. So use the zip code if possible.
Supermarkets are close by in Ashbourne.

Another tip. The park haves big height differences so keep that in mind

We will certainly be back next year.

Room Tip: Lodge 64 has a great view and a hot tub.

First time here. Two tired out parents and two children( one 13 year old for most of the holiday, daughter aged 20 joined for part.) looking for a switch off break and we found it here.
Never felt busy or full even though this week it was full to capacity.
Very very clean chalet. We used the place as a base for days out eg cycling at Tissington and Carsington.Ashbourne centre a few minutes away in the car.
Reception staff V smart and friendly.
Pool great and very clean.Restaurant had great ambience even if food standard fare.
Would definitely return!

Room Tip: We had a washing machine ,very handy, not all lodges do.There is a launderette but with one domestic washer .

We visited Sandy Brook for 4 nights over the Easter break and were very impressed: the lodge (number 55, 4 bedrooms, quiet location at top of the park) was immaculate, we were warmly welcomed by Tracey and her team and there was plenty of open space for the kids to play (aged 11-14).

Our kids took part in a couple of the activities (football and snorkelling) which were run by Arron who was fab. My only gripe was that the snorkelling group was quite large so the children didn't get much time. The pool itself is a reasonable size and the children made good use of it. My only concern was that I'm not sure how many non-residents use it too.

We ate at The Coach House on one night and the food was pretty good. The building itself is beautiful and offers a pretty varied menu. I think we just felt that some of the staff lacked professionalism and it needed a manager or someone with a little more authority to run it.

On the whole, we had a great stay, mostly because the park itself is well-tended, spacious and peaceful. We would def return, but next time we would probably choose a lodge with a hot tub! Special thanks to Tracey and Arron for helping to make our stay memorable.

Fantastic lodges, spacious and really clean. Fantastic hot tub! Great kids facilities including a good size swimming pool. The staff throughout the park could not have been more helpful or friendly. We ate in the restaurant on the first day. Not bad at all but a tad lacking in atmosphere. A very minor criticism in what is a really great park. Would definitely return in the future.

My wife and I decided to come for a short weekend break just to chill out and unwind and that exactly what you gave us.
The lodge was clean and tidy and the personal sauna a nice touch. Although the park looked full it was really quite apart from the wildlife.
We decided to try the restaurant (coach house) and was really pleased with the experience, the staff was nice and helpful and the meals was really good and value for money.
Basically if you want a weekend break either to relax or as physical as you want to be we would highly recommend this park.
