Went to the "Stepping Stones" Pub with my family after an excellent day at Alton Towers,The staff were very friendly on arriving and serving us,the Lady, who served us (short lady with dark hair, worked sat eve 21/6)was very helpful and went out of her way to help us deal with my demanding little girl x The food was good, although found chips not very hot and Chicken Burger pesto melt a bit soggy, overall ok though for a Brewery Pub.The Pubitself is very clean modern and nice to dine in.We also had breakfast on 22/6/2014,the Waiter was excellent in helping us and very friendly,The Breakfast was very pricey at £9.95 for a full English which i thought was very expensive for a fry up which had no fresh ingredients,The bacon/sausage rollsvwere nice but still expensive @ £4.95,and if you`re thinking of having cereal etc before your hot Breakfast then be warned it will be another £6.95!! Overall thoughThe pub is good and i would go back but maybe not for Breakfast

Thank you for your feedback after your visit to us. We are proud of our team and its great to hear that you were equally pleased with them. m very sorry you found that one of your meals was not enjoyable, we would of course been happy to replace this immediately. Our breakfast s £9.95, however the £6.95i s for our lighter option, not just for cereal. With the Full breakfast you can have unlimited drinks, toast and cereal and we also do just cereal and toast for children.

Called here on the off chance and we found table easily in quiet location. The waiter was very polite and helpful. The food was typical of marstons pub grub.

Thank you for your comments, our menu is very typical of hearty pub grub, with a few that you might not expect to ensure variety and a good choice. We are glad you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again soon.

We often stop at the Stepping Stones for a drink after visiting Alton Towers. We have eaten there a couple of times as well, and the food is reasonable and well priced.

It is a Marstons pub, so the beer is good. The menu is the standard Marstons one, with the main items being a rotisserie chicken. I have to say that I thought the food in these pubs was better a few years ago, but it is still good for pub food.

The staff are always friendly, and we always feel welcome when we stop by.

If the weather is good then sitting outside is nice. There is a small play area for the kids.

Visited this pub as we were staying at the Travelodge next door after a day at Alton Towers.
Lovely garden and plenty of places to sit. We especially liked the little gazebo!
Food was of good quality for pub grub. The men in our party were pleased there was Hobgoblin on tap and the ladies enjoyed the good range of wine.
The staff were excellent; really impressed!
