We stayed for one night at the Station House B & B with our friends. We booked both rooms which were of a very high standard, with added extras such as fresh milk on arrival. The extremely clean ensuite shower room had a container with cotton wool/buds & nail file which was a very nice touch to, together with toiletries. We were particularly impressed with the crisp cotton bed linen and the lovely soft towels. We were made to feel very welcome by Morris and Francis, who were very helpful with directions for walks etc. The B & B is right next to The Tissington Trail, and we walked to Ashbourne on the Saturday afternoon which was around 2 miles away. The full english breakfast was delicious, with plentiful supplies of coffee and tea. We would definitely stay again at this lovely B & B.

I stayed at The Station House B&B whilst visiting family who live in Ashbourne. I booked one of the rooms, and my parents stayed in the other. We liked the fact that it is a small B&B. The location is great with views across the peaceful countryside. It is just a minute's walk from the Tissington Trail so is perfect for walkers and cyclists. Unfortunately we had awful weather which stopped us from doing much exploring on this occasion. The proprietors are very friendly and welcoming. The standard of cleanliness is excellent as are the facilities in the rooms. Both double rooms have modern and clean ensuite shower rooms and were very comfortable. Breakfast is very good. If I had one slightly negative comment it is that I would prefer a little background music in the breakfast room. I would have no hesitation in booking this lovely B&B again.

Room Tip: Both rooms are lovely but the one at the back of the house is slightly larger.

We had a one night stay here for a wedding at the local Alstonefield Manor - it was absolutely perfect for this. Very welcoming hosts, lovely room with comfortable bed, modern bathroom, tea/coffee/bottled water in the room, and amazing breakfast that sorted out a potentially terrible hangover. Highly recommended.

We only stayed for 1 night but it was very peaceful and had beautiful views. The owners are lovely and very friendly.

We went to a wedding and got back quite late but it wasn't a problem as the B&B has a separate entrance for guests.
I especially liked the soft bed linen, the bathroom is small and tastefully done.
Breakfast had lots of choices on offer, we left very full.
Would come and stay again.

We stayed 1 night as we were cycling along the Tissington Trail. This is one of the best B&B's we have stayed in. Super comfortable bed with fresh white bedding, a beautiful view of the fields behind from our bedroom window and a stones throw from the Trail, it really did tick all the boxes. Now onto the breakfast, we ate at 8.30am and I didn't eat again for the rest of the day... fresh fruit, muesli, cereals, toast, home-made jam and a full English breakfast including oatcake (yummy) and a big pot of tea & coffee. What more could you ask for?

Room Tip: There are 2 rooms, the one at the back of the house is lovely because you get a great view.
