“Perfect for a Cosy Family Weekend”
Reviewed 26 February 2017 for a stay in November 2016

Stayed here in November to celebrate my youngest sons 21st Birthday with family joining us over the weekend. The setting was perfect - lovely Autumn walks and cycle rides around the lake and treks over the hills. The barn itself was beautiful - enjoying the atmosphere around the fire opening presents and a big family celebratory lunch - the barn had everything we needed and some lovely family memories made.
We are certainly going to plan another trip away this year to get the family together again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

“Beautiful converted barn, beneath an awesome dam.”
Reviewed 21 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

The location is amazing, 4 miles from civilisation, nothing but water and hills to enjoy (though a few cyclists and walkers too) perfect! The dam was incredible, the sound of water continually spilling over was relaxing and to stand so close to it, amazing! Walks along the reservoir banks and on the routes were great, many small waterfalls to explore.
The barn was furnished to a very high standard with comfy beds and sofas. Everything you needed in the kitchen (except maybe a dishwasher) and lots of hot water for showers (strangely only lukewarm for the bath).
Wonderful place to stay, I would highly recommend it. My only reservation is that in the warmer months I suspect you would have to share the space with a lot more people.

We've just come back from a 3 night stay at the beautiful Beavers Croft. A fantastic property in a beautiful setting.

The style of the property is lovely and more than comfortable for a group. The attention to detail with the furnishings chosen was first class.

We throughly enjoyed our long weekend, our guests we're incredible impressed and we're only sad we didn't have longer!

Thank you very much. Charlotte and Richard

“Excellent!”
Reviewed 9 December 2016 for a stay in November 2016

A lovely cottage in a wonderful setting. The Owners were so helpful & kind from the moment we arrived. The area is absolutely breathtaking & the dam adjacent to the property amazing. There are so many walks & places to visit we couldn't fit it all in. The local pubs were great & welcomed our dogs. We will definitely return to stay at this clean, well equipped cottage.

“Perfect for cyclists!”
Reviewed 7 December 2016 for a stay in October 2016

I stayed at Beavers Croft with a group of pals for our annual cycling trip - what a find for 8 of us! The barn is newly renovated and has been done to a very high standard. Although we spent most of our days outdoors exploring the trails, the TV and DVDs, internet and log burner came in very handy for our nights spent in - as did the washing machine and dryer. The location is the best we've been - the views around here of the reservoirs are a real sight. Garage to lock our bikes up in, owner met us on site was very friendly. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

“A lovely family retreat”
Reviewed 26 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Stayed here for a week with my wife and two young children. The accommodation was more than big enough for us and the scenery surrounding it is stunning and despite being in the middle of nowhere we still had internet access which we all appreciated. The barn was spotless and included all the amenities we needed, along with a HUGE garden where the kids could run around safely. We also really appreciated being greeted by the owner on our arrival who was happy to answer a few questions that we had. Would definitely recommend it to others.
