Great young staff who welcome you with big genuine smiles. A wonderful array of handmade chocolates which are far to tempting not to take home.
Try the hot chocolate it is the best ever. Decor is interesting and the whole cafe has a lovely feel.
Will go back and try food

As a non-recovering chocoholic, it's surprising that a year or so after seeing this cafe, we finally stepped over the threshold and gave it a try. And as a non-tea and coffee drinker it was delightful to see hot chocolate on offer three ways - dark, milk or white. Such a treat. And it doesn't end there because you can flavour any of the chocolates with delights such as mint, orange or our favourites - chilli and also ginger.

Tea cakes, crumpets and other cakes go down well. A light bite lunch menu works well - try sharing the chilli beef nachos between two - there's plenty for a light snack on the one plate.

Vintage and quirky odds and sods for sale on the shelving; handmade chocolates in the display cabinet; tables so close you can't help but pick up on gossip. Even outside space on a dry day to people watch on Belper's best foodie street. Love it.

I called late in the afternoon in the hope of a late lunch time light bite. It was after 3:30!. Other places had said no. Their loss as this place is a great find. Great staff, lovely food (soup, artisan bread and a great cake. Nice gift shop and chocolate range. I will be back. Thanks.

Decided to visit for a catch up with a friend and we were not disappointed. Excellent menu choices but very unique options -the range of hot chocolates is superb. Offered a small range of cakes/muffins and a fabulous choice of handmade chocolates -looked too good to resist. Overall brilliant experience and will definitely be back! Fantastic value for money and a much more personal service than any chain coffee shop.
