I've been staying here for most of January, and likely to be here till the Summer. It is exactly what you would expect of a Hilton, rooms are clean, but like a few other people have commented, they are a bit "tired" Bit of a problem for some SatNav's but once you know where it is... Room refresh appears to be a bit of a lottery. I've had a couple of occasions where wine glasses from the previous night are still in the room (unwashed) the following night.

Room Tip: Rooms at the far end of the corridors have less "traffic" - Remember this is an off-airpor...

Family Room review, firstly the hotel is very difficult to find, due to postcode issues, the room we had was very clean, but very tired and worn, and to be fair I do think that the cheaper chain hotels have upped there game and the Hilton trades on its name, the bar and food is very overpriced, of course you expect to pay more but not feel totally ripped off,
The room we had at £169, to hear doors banging, toilets flushing, people coughing etc was a very big disappointment, housekeeping knocking on the door at 8.17am to turn the room around for the next guests is totally unacceptable, very poor sleep quality.
I will say that the reception staff were excellent and very friendly, and all staff seemed generally happy and eager to help.
This hotel needs a massive makeover to charge the prices it does, and the management should have a close look at what the local Raddison is doing and take some notes.
Internet and parking prices are a insult, especially when paying full price for a room.
Overall book somewhere else and get better value for money.

Needs a bit of an update in the rooms but the food and staff certainly made up for that little issue. Isobel on reception is amazing and certainly is service with a smile, however all the staff were amazing, I just can't put all their names on here. Ala carte menu in the restaurant was delicious and great value and the breakfast was a fantastic start to the day. Fantastic ambience in the Akbar area and whatever ur stay here relates to, it's a good choice.

Location is convenient to Motorway and East Midlands Airport and my room was very nice but overall the Hotel was let down by the restaurant which was expensive and had no atmosphere in the evening. I'm used to Hotel restaurants being a bit more expensive but I thought the menu at the East Midlands Hilton was particularly expensive and not value for money.

I'd happily recommend this hotel for its location, rooms and breakfast but wouldn't recommend the restaurant in the evening.

This hotel is close to the EMA airport & a short walk to Kegworth. The good points of this Hilton are the breakfast is one of the better one for hotels in the area. The internet is faster & not data limited like a couple of the other hotels in the area. The bad point of the hotel is that the rooms are getting old. The furnishings in the rooms are old & worn from years of usage.

I was here for a meeting and was really impressed - i wasnt expecting much from an airport hotel whose address is Junction 24 of the M1, but it was great. The staff were really helpful - from the chef who poached two perfect eggs , and on being asked for grilled tomatoes (which werent on the breakfast buffet) not only provided them, but asked if I was staying another night so that he could have them ready for me next morning (I wasnt sadly because they were delicious) to the receptionist who sorted out my confusing bill by knocking a couple of strange items off it immediately, and the chap who arrived within a couple of minutes to sort out my non working TV remote control (which of course immediately started working when he arrived) they were all great. My room was on the top floor (in accordance with my Hilton Honors preference) and large with a comfortable bed. it had dormer windows, which suited me as junction 24 and the airport dont provide much of a view, but be warned if you are a light sleeper (Im not!) that being right under the roof means the rain is extremely noisy.

Parking is easy and right in front of the entrance if youre not using Stay and Park, whcih was very convenient as I had quite a lot of stuff for my meeting. I also got it free, i think because I was only staying overnight, or perhaps because of the meeting - not sure, but very welcome.

Despite bringing my swimming things I didnt get the chance to try the pool, as my meeting went on later than expected (damn!), but it looked lovely. The meeting room was good and my colleagues enjoyed the doughnuts provided!

Breakfast as always with Hiltons was great and the chef (see above) was really helpful.

I had excellent internet access, provided through BT so I was able to use it for free as I have BT broadband at home, but would have been quite pricy without. I find it frustrating that so many hotel chains use wifi access as an income stream - I assume to make up for the fact that noone has used their overpriced phones for the last 15 years. Rant over!

Otherwise, my only small criticisms are that the shower pressure was a little low for me (though I do like a shower like a water canon!), so would probably have been fine for most people and that the bar food is quite pricy and the service was incredibly slow - once the food arrived it was ok, but i get the feeling that theyre taking advantage of the fact that theres no local competition.

Finally, a tip for those coming off the M1, get in the right hand lane as soon you go onto Derby Road, the turning for the hotel comes up very quickly and it may be difficult to move right when you get to the turning.
