My husband and I have returned today from a 3-night stay at Shepherds Cottage, Riding House Farm. We had a brilliant relaxing stay in this superbly located cottage. We were warmly welcomed by Denise with wine flowers and chocolates and made to feel at home from the word go. The cottage is first class with everything you need; it really is a home from home and the only place we have ever stayed where we actually felt like we were at home. It really is in a beautiful location with amazing views and just to sit outside drinking in the scenery was most therapeutic for us. (We enjoyed the luxury of 2 bathrooms too.) All this at a very good price too!! Our stay was made most special by the friendliness of the hosts and we enjoyed our chats with David and the helpful information of the area which he gave us. All in all we had a wonderful much needed rest in a beautiful part of the country with the friendliest welcome we have ever enjoyed on our travels. Thank you David and Denise.
