We decided to treat ourselves to a nice weekend away and a change of scenery.

We were made to feel very welcome and shown to our room. Fantastically comfortable bed and beautiful room.

The steak was phenomenal and the staff are a real credit. If only ever hotel was as good as this one.

Superb food is available here. We shall certainly return. Wonderful experience.

Lovely venue in a beautiful little village. Service was very friendly and professional. The food was amazing, all fresh produce and cooked to perfection. The scallops were to die for and the ribeye was juicy and very cry flavoursome . Will be returning soon.

This was our first visit and it won't be our last. Etwall is a small pretty village tucked away off the A516 road outside Derby near to the A50. there are some other pubs in the village but this restaurant with rooms is delightful. One of the draught the beers is Brakespears from Oxford, very nice, and the menu was varied with something for everybody. the service was excellent and we will be back again and highly recommend this little gem.

The setting and atmosphere are very nice and the staff in general are welcoming and friendly. For a restaurant that purports to be of high standard, I did not like the fact the we have to go to the bar to get our drinks rather than being served in the lounge. We waited too long for our starters to be ready, just about an hour after arriving, which again was a little on the long side. These food was very nice, well presented and very enjoyable. The service in the dining room was functional but lacked something. They did not serve the wine which is a bit of a bug bear of mine given the standard they are trying to portray. At the end if the meal we asked for the bill which duly arrived but then no one came to take our money. We ended up having to go to the bar. Overall a good experience, but some little things that they need to improve in my opinion.

Food evening, thank you for taking the time to write your review of the Blenheim House. We were pleased to read that you enjoyed your meal with us but sorry to read that you believe we are lacking in detail in a few areas of service. There are always areas that we can improve and most of the points you highlight we agree with and are making changes to implement these, however, we are pleased that your overall experience was a good one. Many thanks, Helga
