We haven't stayed a this place but we went for a meal to celebrate our anniversary, it was a Monday night, so it was very quiet. The young man that looked after us (owners son) did a brilliant job, from greeting us with congratulations on your anniversary, to serving us drinks and our meal. He'd even gone to the trouble of lighting all the candles in the restaurant, just to make it feel warmer with not being busy. To top the night the meal was first class, with a extra little treat of chocolates from the chef at the end of the night. Would highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back. Thank you again.

This is a lovely hotel where the staff could not have been more helpful or made us feel more welcome! The room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfortable! We had lunch in the bar and this, and the breakfast, were both delicious. The service was really superb. Thanks for a great stay!

I stay in hotels every week. This hotel is good. The food is exceptional and the service standard surpasses the expectations of a small independent hotel. I was though disappointed with my room. I stayed for two nights and thought the room to be small. I booked throgh hotels .com and payed £98 for a superior room. The only room available. I would judge (from the hotels photos) that perhaps my room booking on the website always not relayed to the owners? And I was put in a "normal" room? I would however stay again but would advise checking what you are paying for Vs what you get.

Stayed one night as a stop off at the start of the August bank holiday. Could not have chosen a better place. Dinner in the bar was first class with a warm atmosphere. The room was extremely comfortable and we slept very well in the large cosy bed. Breakfast was first class. We were looked after in the room and in the bar by friendly staff. Recommended.

I attended a birthday lunch party at Blenheim House yesterday. The food was all first class as was the service. Fresh salmon and prawns and cold meats were served with a variety of salads. Drinks of delicious Pimms or fruit punch were served on arrival and topped up later. Wine and tea or coffee were poured for the guests. I was very impressed and having looked at the Sunday lunch menu and the evening dinner menu I will be back for more.
