A very enjoyable meal much with friendly service. Wine selection was very good, we all enjoyed the food, very reasonable priced. The only criticism was the bread - needs to be freshly baked daily not store bought. Overall thoughts - very good for a local restaurant but not worth a trip across town.

We ate here as a party of 3 last night on the spur of the moment having had a frantic couple of weeks, had been meaning to try it for a while but for various reasons had never quite got round to it. Well we won't be leaving it too long before we go back. Whilst it was quiet for a midweek evening, the few others in managed to generate a nice atmosphere with gentle but not intrusive background Spanish music. A good choice of tapas, we ordered 3 each which proved to be just right for us. The dishes did not all arrive at once, which I must admit is what we like because if they do some inevitably go cold. They were freshly cooked and piping hot. The Rioja was also good and reasonably priced. Overall, a very good authentic tapas restaurant, well worth a visit and certainly better than travelling into nearby cities and paying more for inferior quality. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

First visit to La Bodega and was pleasantly surprised at how good the tapas are. We ordered 5 between two of us and bread for 2 and the portions were very generous. Everything is freshly cooked and the gambas pil pil were the best I've had outside Spain. Customer service is excellent and a nice atmosphere. I can definitely recommend La Bodega and will certainly be going back again.

We go to this place quite regularly, we love it and the kids (3,6,18) love it too. Whether it's with friends, family or a mix of the two they never disappoint, we have had big tables of 13 as well and had no issues. Lovely staff too. Try it.
