Just spent 2 beautiful June nights here. Lovely staff on duty, welcoming and friendly. You may wish to note staff are not on site 24/7. They hired out a self inflating mat for my friend (£5 flat fee), and there are wheelbarrows available to take all your stuff from car to tent. No sockets to charge anything, unless the office is open. But with such a poor signal (on O2) this wasn't a problem. The gents toilets stunk of urine, almost overpowering, I couldn't get out fast enough. They are old and dated but thoroughly cleaned, maintained and ventilated, which made the reason behind such an intense smell a mystery. It improved slightly by end of stay.
There's only one push tap shower for the gents, but luckily we never had to queue, there's a disabled toilet and shower wet room. Also a couple of sinks for drinking water and washing up.More
