Had a spare moment and was recommended to go here by my friend.
It is small but was interesting to read about this particular pottery's past life and how the loo became the loo we now use many times a day.
Some artefacts, some pictures, just a lovely half hour or so browsing in the remains of the original buildings.
As the tourist info center is also located in the building you can straight away check out on other things to do in the area.

Went with five year old granddaughter. When we arrived she asked where we were going and when we said to a pottery museum her response was 'boring'. When we left she said 'that was brilliant when can we go back?".

The staff were all lovely and went well above and beyond in making the visit enjoyable.

Lovely cafe, nice little play area and interesting exhibitions.

With lots of interesting activities on their programme for the summer we will definitely be back.

Free activities promoted in our local press so headed down with my 6 & 9 year old over easter weekend to get our hands mucky and make some easter themed models from clay. Kids loved it and they even go to take their creations home for a small donation. Superb idea, will definately go again. Cafe was lovely but rather busy and struggled to cope at times but let everyone know up front so people were not hanging around or dissappointed.

The food is very nice and tasty, and reasonably priced. The museum is great fun, plenty to do especially in school holidays
