“Wonderful little find”
Reviewed 9 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

This cottage was lovely, the interior was done so well, we were greeted with fresh bread from the bakers, jams, fresh fruit, biscuits, milk and fresh local butter in the fridge. All rooms had towels and toiletries to purchase if required.
It was perfectly located for local beautiful walks, it helped that we had fantastic weather so probably a lot muddier in the winter months.
Nice little pub in the village with local beers and a pub 10 mins walk down the road where they serve food.
The dogs loved it too, the cottage even has a utility room to keep the dogs in at night.
We would definitely recommend and stay again.

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this idyllic and stylish cottage! Claire was so helpful and the welcome goodies were a real treat! We loved the village, the Nelsons Arms, the friendly people, Le Mistral, cycling round Carsington Water, exploring Matlock and the star disc! We will most definitely return! Thank you Claire

“Fantastic break, wonderful cottage and very welcoming village.”
Reviewed 3 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

All reviews are 100% accurate. We arrived on a snowy December 29th to an immaculately clean cottage with a wonderful welcome basket. The extra detail that the owners have gone to is wonderful, toiletries, tea, coffee, blankets, hair dryer etc.
The village is lovely and a visit to the Nelsons Arms is a must. Jane, the landlady is so welcoming. I would highly recommend and we hope to return again in 2018.
