Had a lovely weekend in the cottage which was clean, comfortable and had everything guests could want. Would be very happy to return.
We have just returned from this wonderfully clean and cosy cottage. Everything required is on site including bedding, towels, fully equipped kitchen, masses of hot water and also includes electricity and WiFi. (Even underfloor heating). As soon as we walked in it was just like home from home.
The cottage is very central for sightseeing and walking in the Peak District. Plenty of tourist information provided either by Joanna or previous guests.
A lovely garden is provided with seating to enjoy an outdoor meal or just chill with a glass or two of wine.
This is the type of accommodation that I want to tell everyone about, then I think " do I want to share this with others". That is how good it is. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
Thanks Joanna from Chris and Steve
Lovely cottage, compact but has a beautifully spacious feel. Lovely outside seating areas and countryside. Will be visiting again without a doubt.
Really impressed with how lovely the cottage was. Beautiful front garden, amazing view out of the back. Decorated superbly, modern but with a really comfortable atmosphere. Great facilities all available like wifi, towels and kitchen products. Really enjoyable stay.
We stayed here for a long weekend, after a few problems getting there sat have took us to wrong Rd, the cottage is in the middle of nowhere, well worth it when we got to the cottage, it's a lovely cute little place, everything you wanted was there, it was so peaceful and quiet.
After a stressful few months this was just what the doctor ordered. Would definitely recommend to everybody.

A lovely homely cottage, with modern touches and original features. Compact but perfectly formed, hidden up in the peaceful hills with stunning views. Being allowed to take our dog made it even better, the peak district is so canine friendly, with any pubs and shops allowing them in. Only two points future bookers should know the roads are very countryside; narrow and steep and the garden is not fully secure for dog use.
My partner and I spent 6 nights at Spout Barn Cottage and had a fantastic time. It's located in the countryside and has very beautiful views with only the sound of the countryside around you. The conversion has been done very well and has a modern feel about it with plenty of space. Loved the huuuge round bed and drench shower over the bath. Everything you could want in a holiday home. The owner was very helpful but didn't intrude on us. Plenty of things to do and places to visit around the area and our miniature schnauzer loved all the new walks he went on. Would definately recommend the cottage if you want somewhere to chill out.
