“Only saved by how cheap it was!”

A very strange, unwelcoming place. A visitor centre cum cafe cum shop, with no presence, interest or enticement. Very confusing signage, and glum staff didn't help either. Eventually we bought a £1 "map" of the site and ventured outside. The layout was confusing, the signs poor and the sights minimal. By far the best feature was the Millennium Wall, showcasing different types of dry stone walling from around the uk. You could also make out fossils along the old reef line, but the broken down fence prevented a closer view. All in all...don't bother I'm afraid.
