Apple Tree Cottage is a lovely quaint property. The property is very well equipped, and has its own drive. There is a great local pup called Farm Yard Inn directly across the road that serves fantastic food and real ale. The scenery and walks in this area are truly breath-taking. The local rivers are crystal clear and one in particular has a shallow swimming area. I can honestly say it was one of the best locations we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. We will certainly visit again.
Stayed with partner for 3 nights while attending an event in nearby Bakewell. The cottage and Youlgreave are both delightful, and Irene & Chris friendly, helpful and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to return if we were in the area.
I stayed at Apple Tree Cottage at the end of May 2016 with my partner and 2 year old child. The accommodation is situated in a gorgeous little village and the cottage itself is lovely. We had everything we needed and it was suitable for our active toddler. The owners are very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back again as we had such a lovely time. Highly recommended
Me my partner and little boy of 9 weeks had our first little getaway here, a lovely little cottage with everything you will need for your stay. Great views, pubs/restaurants, walks right out your front door with chatsworth house just a short drive away which I would also recommend. Would just like to thank the owners for a wonderful stay and we will be returning in the future and will be recommending to friends and family. 10/10 :)
We stayed here for a midweek break in December , cottage very comfortable and in a lovely village location with 3 pubs a small shop and bakery that sell amazing pies . Was a great base to explore and plenty of lovely walks with our Boxer dog.
A lovely cottage in a glorious location and great for dogs too as the garden is secure. The Farmyard Inn is just across the road and serves really good food especially their pies on Wednesday pie night, but you'll need to book. There are magnificent walks from the cottage so you don't have to use your car all time. The walk from the cottage down the hill to Bradford Dale is lovely even if the return journey makes you puff!
