“Excellent day out for the family at Knockhatch”
Reviewed 18 May 2012

Had a great day out with the children (aged 4 and 6) at Knockhatch. There is loads to do for children of all ages and they seem to be improving the attraction every time we go. The quadapillar is always a hit and they have it running more frequently now which means less queing than there used to be.
It's good value for a family day out - there are additional activities that you pay extra for but younger children aren't really that interested in these so that saves a bit of money.
The display in the display barn was very interesting as the man presenting it was excellent (it featured a tawny owl, barn owl, meer cats, pole cats and American kestrel).

“Very Good Day Out”
Reviewed 9 May 2012 via mobile

We recently went to Knockhatch on our holiday in Hastings and we enjoyed it. We went on an off peak day which only had the farm and play area open. The animal encounter talks were very good and you get to touch the animals which my son enjoyed. Play area was great fun and adults can play too :) we didn't try the food it was quite expensive but you can take a picnic which is always nice. With it being off peak it was great value for money, would defiantly go again.

“Low standards and not good value”
Reviewed 21 April 2012

We went to Knockhatch recently and were very unimpressed with the place. It's a mix of farm park ( with hardly any animals) and an outside play area. Their standards seemed very low and everything looked as though it was built or done on the cheap. On the plus side there is quite a lot of open space so the kids can charge about and the birds of prey area was good. The indoor play area was very grotty and was quite dark and gloomy and it was definitely in need of proper management. The toilets in the indoor play barn were a disgrace and the three staff in there were just chatting together ignoring the condition of the toilets and all the other visitors We didnt try the food because it was the greasy spoon variety.Quite a lot of extras for go carts (£3.95 per person) bouncy trampoline, climbing wall and laser games. Overall we would not recommend to others and won't be going back.
