We stayed at The Gallery for three nights over Easter 2014. Everything about our stay there was fantastic: a wonderful, warm welcome from Kathryn; a spotlessly clean, large and lovely room and the best B&B breakfast I have ever had! There's a fab choice of quality sausages (I had pork and chive, my partner had pork and apple). On day two, my partner chose the homemade haddock fishcake with poached egg, and loved it so much, she had it the next day too! The local blackcurrant jam was also delicious and I bought a few pots for us and my dad. Kathryn offered plenty of info about Thirsk and surrounds, and was fine with us eating our fish and chips in the dining room one evening. All in all, we had a great stay at a truly lovely, first-class B&B – thank you Kathryn. We would highly recommended this B&B to anyone wanting to explore the beautiful North York Moors area.
