“Brilliant views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 August 2014

We walked along the ridge for the best views of Yorkshire anyone could wish for with the added bonus of being able to watch gliders being winched up and flying along the ridge. There are longer walks from here, cycle hire to do the cycle tracks and a good visitor centre.

“Great Scenery”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

We love Sutton Bank we live locally and visit often to walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We recently tried out the new mountain bike trails which are marked out well and rated the one we did was classed as family friendly but I would advise families with young children to give it a miss as the first part has some fast downhill sections and some difficult ascents for little ones.

“The best views in England”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2014

We were awed by the views from Sutton Bank. We could practically see all the way to the Pennines. The whole of Yorkshire was laid out before us like a patchwork quilt. I had heard of the air being like wine, but up there, we experienced it.

“White Horse of Yorkshire”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

Sutton Bank is a great place to go for walks and also mountain biking.
There is a really good visitors centre there where staff have a lot of good local knowledge and are very friendly and helpful. You can also rent bikes here.
Great views over the Vale of York - definitely worth another visit.
