A quaint little place. I was unimpressed at first since the heating was not on in our room and didn't come on until I complained a couple of times. Same with the hot water. However, the manager/owners were very quick to remedy the problems.
Staff are very friendly and the service was excellent.
The room we were in was a the front of the hotel looking on to the main street. This proved a tad noisy early in the morning, but not that bad that it bothered us too much.
We decided to eat at the restaurant as we didn't feel like trooping all over the place and wanted an early night.
It was Thai night and I was surprised just how excellent the food was. Totally delicious and I eat a lot of Thai.

Room Tip: Try to get a room at the back of the hotel, rather than onto the main street.

On behalf of the Veteran Years club of Steyning I would like to thank Mike and Mae and all their staff for looking after us so well when we had our Christmas meal at the Castle Inn Hotel at Bramber in December.

Everyone was very heldpful and friendly and the service excellent, which can't have been easy when you have 40 hungry people to keep happy.! You can obviously cater for large parties as well as you can for small groups

The rooms were extremely welcoming and warm with attractive tradional decorations and log fires.

Finally the most important thing - the food, we all agreed it was perfect - delicious, hot and plenty of it.

We are happy to recomend you and will certainly be booking our Christmas meal with you again this year and are looking forward to trying your Thai evening.

Wet and cold weekend but warm and welcoming stay. Lovely breakfast and treats for the dog who was equally welcome. Room clean, warm and opened onto the garden which gives easy disabled access. May be a bit noisy in summer if you wanted peace and quiet. Beer a bit pricey.

I make several business trips to the area and now only stay at The Castle. Value for money, excellent food, a good breakfast and a friendly atmosphere make this a place to chalk up as a 'find'. Happy to change my business trips to fit in to when accommodation is available. And I can have a proper conversation with the Landlord about Rugby. Great
