We chose Mercato based on being gourmet but not as over the top/creative as some of the other restaurants on offer. The food was beautiful and a little pricey but the meal and service were lovely so it was worth it. We had the Kangaroo with black quinoa pilaf, beetroot, wilted spinach and macadamia and Beef with kale, sauteed mushrooms and red wine jus. We ordered the nicola potatoes and pumpkin (with Persian fetta and thyme yum) as sides and they were all really delicious and complimented the mains perfectly. We weren't enticed by the desserts on offer so skipped them in the end, they needed something more widely appealing in this section of the menu. The service was lovely and just as you would expect for this level of restaurant :)
