We went for dinner and were looking forward to a great curry but we were disappointed. There were no Naan on the night we went which just spoilt the meal.

We enjoyed our meal here so much that we came again the next night. The curries were very tasty and the waitress very helpful with our choices.
It calls itself fine cuisine. It looks more like a cafe than a fine restaurant but don't let that fool you. The curries are very tasty. There were three of us who all ordered a different curry and all three tasted different. Often in Indian restaurants the curries all taste very similar but here they were all quite different.
If you're in the area and like Indian food then give them a try, hopefully you won't be disappointed.

Great curry at authentic Indian restaurant in main street. Inexpensive, cheap, friendly... and DELICIOUS!

I have to agree with fellow contributor Livinlife66... great curry, but no effort to create atmosphere....

We stopped here after a long day and nearly at close... walking inside I was very cagey and wondered what we would get from this experience...

The answer was good wholesome authentic curry at a reasonable price.. great flavours, nice mango chutney.. raita...

The owners come from Innisfail every day .. 1.5hrs... a long trek.. and I would equally trek this distance for a return meal...

It wouldn't take much to make this restaurant ambience a lot better. a bit of music.. just that alone would make a huge difference... but please don't lose the focus on the flavours...

hot is not really hot.. so if you like your curry spicy.. please do tell..

We have eaten several times here & are big fans of indian food.
We have always enjoyed the food, but there is no atmosphere. Often, there is no music (Indian would be good!) just the sound of the microwave pinging. I suspect the food is pre-prepared & just heated to order.
We were once asked if we would like our dessert warmed for 30 seconds on high!
We would visit more often if we felt like we were welcome- often they are empty & the welcome less than enthusiastic. There is no chat with the waitress - just a menu given & your order taken. They are often closed early. It's a shame. The food is lovely!
