“A Good Choice”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

The guest house is easy to find, well signed. I had a late arrival, but Joe made sure that I had no problems finding the Silverbirch Suite after my arrival. I only stayed the one night on a business trip to Buderim, but would have been very happy to have stayed longer in this top rate guest house. The suite was small but comfortable and very well appointed, and the balcony had a lovely view over the tree tops to the sea. The room was spotless, bed very comfortable, and although close to the main road there was no road noise so a good nights sleep was enjoyed after a long day. The location is about 5 minutes drive from the Buderim shopping centre (great restaurants) and the Sunshine Coast beaches but it is too far to walk to either given the long hill climb from the waterfront to the top of Buderim, and it is only 10 minutes to the airport. It would be a great location as a base to explore the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland. I would definately stay here again.

An absolute Gem - “Our New Favourite Place on Earth” - Easy to Find & Access.
"Outstanding" location, especially for us, as it is located not far from The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital & Specialist Rooms, Buderim Qld 4556.

We, my husband & I, both found Joe, the owner of Arabella Guesthouse, to be welcoming, professional, reliable, respectful, friendly, honest, courteous, & helpful in his overall manner, whenever we liaised with him.

During our stay, we also found Jackie, a Staff member who we liaised with during our stay, to be most welcoming, courteous, warmhearted & friendly, nothing was a bother to or for her.
It was Jackie who prepared & served us our Breakfast - that was indeed an 'Eye Feast to Behold' - 'Healthy, Colourful, Delightful & Delicious' - Breakfast was served to us in the dining room, and from where we sat, we were blessed with the most breath taking 'Panoramic View' -
A most beautiful day was revealing itself to us, in the sky, the clouds, the sea, the coastline -
It was indeed magnificent - simply 'Glorious'.

My husband enjoyed reading & taking in the daily news shared in the local newspaper that we were also provided with, along with our Breakfast.

Overall, we both found the overall furniture & decor throughout the Arabella Guesthouse to be "Spotlessly Clean & Tidy", not forgetting to mention "Exquisite, Unique, Tasteful & Soothing" to the eye - from the tiniest of well chosen items, to the largest - just Beautiful.
The main Lounge/Sitting/Dining area, invites all staying guests to gaze upon &/or read the most amazing & diverse collection of well chosen books, including novels, encouraging & thought provoking shared quotes, history, autobiographies, magazines & a large range of CD's & DVD's for all who may find time to enjoy embracing some quiet & relaxing times during their stay at Arabella Guesthouse.

Our stay was during Winter, where we found our room to be wonderful for us, both 'Warm & Cosy'. Our bed/mattress & pillows were very comfortable. There were ample blankets, extras were available, should they be required. Overall we slept well. Noise was not a problem.
We found that the bathroom/toilet/shower in our private on-suite to be faultless & very clean.
The shower water was 'Hot & Gushing' - There were ample soft towels & hand towels provided. We appreciated that the bathroom has an exhaust fan, most excellent, especially in bathrooms.

A choice of parking facilities for our vehicle was offered, either inside a lockable garage &/or an external area &/or bay designated for staying guest's vehicles. We were content to leave our vehicle in an external parking bay.

In conclusion, we felt 'Safe & Comfortable' during our stay at Arabella Guesthouse, & we would certainly stay there again, without a doubt - We 'Absolutely Loved it!!' - Thank You Joe (Owner) & Jackie (Staff) for your 'Good Will Blessings' shared with us, during our stay.

Pouring rain and arrived at this delightful guesthouse on the main road in Buderim. Jo, the owner met us then discreetly left us to settle in. Our room was very nice, the best and most comfortable bed ever apart from my own (and I have slept in many) and the decor was subtle and cosy. The tv was hidden behind the sliding door inside the wardrobe at a good height to watch from bed if need be. Wireless connectivity was free and fast. The ensuite was compact but well supplied and there was plenty of hot water. There were a few cracked tiles in the shower but not a big deal. The house was well laid out with a large and comfortable shared area with a wood fire. The continental breakfast was great - really fresh fruit, yoghurt and croissants and toast. Great coffee too! The view from the deck was excellent after the rain cleared and would be a nice spot ti wile away some time with a good bottle if wine. Well done to Jo and his staff. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Ask Jo for room details as there are a variety.

Our first trip to Australia was made even more memorable by our stay at Arabella. We loved everything about the house from the tasteful decor to the spa bath in the bathroom to the toaster in the kitchen. Someone with an amazing eye for detail and comfort decorated this elegant home.
We slept well in the comfortable bed and ate the generous continental breakfast served by Jackie. All sorts of teas and fine coffees were available all day and the whole kitchen was ours to use.
Joe made good and easy arrangements for us to gain access to the house and nothing was too much trouble for him. Lots of off-street parking and easy access to the centre of the town were a plus as well.
Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I took my partner on a surprise weekend away for his birthday and we had a truly amazing experience. The house was set out in a lovely way, everything was superb right down to the finest detail. We were lucky enough to have the balcony all to ourselves the night we stayed and we had a romantic candle lit talk. Breakfast was lovely also. Thank you!

While exploring the Sunshine Coast we spent one night at this gorgeous bed and breakfast. It provides a wonderful sense of comfort with it's beautifully decorated interior which is sophisticated and opulent, yet homely. The spacious open lounge and dining area centres the bedrooms and allows guests to congregate and catch up with one another. One of the other couples staying here commented that their bed enabled them to sleep in for the first time in years... And we couldn't agree more. Little touches all around provide a sense of luxury, from the fine artwork on the walls, to the Eygyptian cotton linen and Charlotte Rhys bath products. The hostess Jackie was very welcoming and provided us with a tasty continental breakfast on the deck overlooking Maroochydore. The location is perfect as it's a stones throw away from the hub of activity on the beachfront, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle that one can truly relax and feel on holiday in this bespoke retreat.
