We booked a day walk on private land with Mason's Tours and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a private tour so that it would be just the four of us and our guide, and learned loads about the area and about the trees and wildlife, and also some information on the aboriginal way of life. We were thoroughly looked after, got on very well with our guide and were very pleased with the trip. Sad that it ended!
Thank you very much, and all the best for the future.
On a side note all communication before the trip was helpful and friendly. Thank you once again.

My guide, Brett, was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide for both the night croc spotting tour and the half day interpretive tour. The endless stories (especially during the morning tours) about different wildlife made the tour really interesting. One of the highlights definitely included the refreshing swim at the Myall Creek whilst enjoying some homemade cookies & Daintree tea!

The 4WD tour we did with the Mason's was one of the highlights of our trip. After having our trip to the Great Barrier Reef rescheduled due to bad weather, we were worried that our 4WD tour would also be affected. Luckily it wasn't and we were treated to some great sights whilst with the tour. On the Bloomfield track, we were taken to the Aboriginal community of Wujal Wujal and had the privilege of being shown the waterfalls there by a member of the local Aboriginal community.
There were only four of us on the tour (my friend and I and another couple) which made the tour much more personalised. Brett, our tour guide, was a wealth of information about the rainforest and bush tucker. We even had a small morning tea by the side of a river which we weren't expecting. All in all, the Mason's 4WD was an amazing experience and a great way to see the rainforest.

We also booked into the 2 hour rainforest walk through a private track on the Mason's property. This tour was also lead by Brett the tour guide from the 4WD tour. Again, Brett knew so much about the environment which surrounded us and was extremely informative. The walk was slightly strenuous but nothing too difficult. Brett also took us to Myall River which runs through the Mason's property. It was an amazing experience and so informative. Thank you very much for the lovely insight into the Daintree Rainforest.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing experience on the half day tour through the Mason's area of the Daintree rainforrest. We had a really good guide, Brendan, that was very engaged in showing us the vegetation and telling stories about it all while we walk through areas we could not have gone through ourselves. As we travelled on from Daintree, this was an experience we kept talking about and both agreed that is was one of the highlights of our trip in Queensland. On the day of the guided tour, we were the only two booked, which meant also meant we have time to have interesting talks. Brendan was an excellent guide, that took his time showing us around. He brought homemade cookies from Mrs Mason for morning tea that we enjoyed halfway by the creek. Thank you for a amazing walk that we will remember! Louise and Thomas, Denmark (and Sydney).

I did the half day interpretive walk and the 2.5 hour Croc Spotting Nightwalk. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, making both great experiences. It was wonderful that he was able to open my eyes to so much that I would have missed. Also, great not getting lost. Which is what would have happened if I had gone out by myself. I highly recommend you do these tours as they were fun and not too strenuous. If you're a seasoned hiker/trekker, I recommend you do the half day tour before heading out by yourself because the knowledge the guide is able to impart to you will make your own exploring a richer experience. Lunch at Mason's after the half day trek was also pretty great!
