We stayed only 1 night but location and rooms are nice.wi-fi little be slowly probably due to isolated area of cape tribulation.continental breakfast was included in the price.recepionist gave us some advices to see crocodiles

Ferntree is perfectly located in Cape Trib, with great staff and set-up, it just needs a revamp to make it amazing. Waking up in the middle of the rainforest was a tick off the bucket list, and the kids were thrilled with their room up the "ladder", though we did need to keep close to hand for the first few trips up and down. The restaurant was great too, having breakfast amongst the trees, and the pool table was a welcome activity for the late afternoon. The bathroom was in the most need of an upgrade, and the stay would be better again with insect screens to discourage 'visitors', but then that's North Queensland. Hoping we can go back again to a renovated paradise.

We had room 59 and we didnt have a good experience. The room was old and not renovated. It was very damp and therefore had a very bad smell. Bathroom was old as well with taps leaking and scruffy. Terrible beds. And the two chairs we had at the front were broken. Still the compound was nice and green and the pools were beautiful. The restaurant was alright. Altogether not worth the price and badly maintained. Would not stay there again.
