in 3 weeks this was the only poor meal we had in australia, Mason is a great place to swim but bring a picnic and skip this restaurant - the menu is deep fried and the flies were in abundance, the loos were not nice. Sorry.

We stopped in here on our way back from cape tribulation to have a burger as the sign on the road read "best burgers in the jungle". At a RIP OFF price of $16.95 per hamburger!!! Our two burgers, small chips and a drink came to $50!! And the worst part is they tasted plain, boring and tasteless, they weren't anything special. As for the manager continually defending the place as not being dirty from everyone's reviews, we'll it is DIRTY! I seen for myself. Even the backpackers working there looked grubby. I recommend anyone looking for something to eat to stop somewhere else as there is heaps of places just minutes apart along the way.

Burgers are amazing. and so are the chips!!!!
Don't bother with the wraps. Go the burgers. and nice to get a big fat smile from the cooks when we complemented them on the yummy food. at first we though a little $, but fresh and so tasty. craving one now!!

Our son gleefully gobbled up an ENORMOUS hamburger with egg and lots of other stuff on it. How he fit it in his mouth I will never understand.... Fish and chops was very tasty. Get off your butt and head to the swimming hole, for which there are signs. It's GORGEOUS. Swim if you've got time.

We found the cost of the food and coffee way overpriced. The only good thing was the waterhole which was picturesque.
