Yes, there are places to stay and places to eat but it is done with the environment in mind. Take time to do several of the boardwalk walks and stroll along the beaches. Take heed of the croc signs. Yes, you are in crocodile territory so just be weary of where you are. It is safe if you take the right safety precautions and watch where you hang out. Enjoy, it's a beautiful serene part of the world away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
