“A Botanical Jurassic Park”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

We were with a small group, but would love to return on our own just to wander through this park, discovering things on our own. You'll spot everything from tiny orchids to towering fan palms. 40% of all Australian plant species can be found here, along with reptiles, birds and marsupials and frogs. We spotted a casawary, sort of an emu with a horn on top of its head. They are fast, so photos are quiet blurry, we were told its a lot like spotting Big Foot. We were there in Fall, and needed bug repellant in the forest.

“Hiking Mt Sorrow”
Reviewed 14 July 2014 via mobile

We were in the beautiful Cape and decided to hike Mt Sorrow. Definitely worth it beautiful views. The walk is pretty steep and hard on the knees, walking poles would certainly help. Hubby and I in our 50/60 relatively fit and found this fine to do. Took us just under 4 hours. Loved the view.

“A must visit”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

You all must come up to Far North Queensland to experience the stunning beauty. I now understand why this has been made a World Heritage listed area for very good reasons. Well worth the trip up north. Enjoy !!

“Beautiful beach”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

A wide, open beautiful beach. The walk to the lookout is well worth the effort. It is an easy short walk along the boardwalk.
