Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours take you into the beating heart of the Daintree Rainforest on a guided zipline experience through six tree platform and the world's first Human Hamster Wheel cable lift. This is nature's own spectacular high definition live stream, available every day from Cape Tribulation. The guides are with you every step of the way, sharing their wit and wisdom with interpretation on every platform and they also control your flight throughout the tour, so there’s absolutely no experience necessary, making the tour suitable for all ages from three to 103. The platforms range from 3.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground and each one reveals a different level of the rainforest with unique and spectacular views into the canopy, over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef (don’t forget your camera!!) There are up to twelve two-hour tours daily, with at least one hour up in the rainforest canopy. It’s essential to book, especially during school holidays.

Great fun and exhilarating. Cape Tribulations and the Daintree Rainforest is beautiful but seeing it from this vantage point high up in the canopy is fantastic. The guides that took us up were great fun but very professional. My kids, 8 and 12 years, loved it too.

“Brilliant & Eco Friendly”
Reviewed 27 June 2014 via mobile

What a fantastic experience led by the nicest guys you could meet. What a treat to be up high amongst the oldest trees in the world. The guides were knowledgeable & made me (who is terrified of heights) feel quite comfortable. My 2 teenage sons thought it was the best fun. It is a wonderful & safe experience you won't forget.

“tons of fun and great for adventurous families”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

Our 10 and 6 year old daughters were keen to go ziplining in the jungle, and Jungle Surfing in Cape Trib has no age restrictions, which is unusual as our 6 year old is often excluded because she's "not old enough" by operational policies. Despite the fact that she's climbed two 14,000+ mountains. So we were thrilled that we could do this together because if we can't all do it, we won't do it whenwe're on a family trip. We had perfect weather, unlike many others who've done this trip in the rain. The guides were terrific (Angie, Dylan, and a great guy from Ottawa, so sorry I didn't catch his name- the "red team"), so much fun, very informative about the rain forest, aboriginal stories, the zip line) and made you feel very safe. We had a great time. It's pricey but so is everything here, and this is one we'll be telling folks back home about for a while!

“Such good fun”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

We had a wonderful morning jungle surfing through the canopy of the heritage listed rain-forest at Cape Tribulation. Despite the weather being so miserable, it did not stop us from enjoying the scenery and distant views. Thanks again team for a trip I will never forget.

“Made for a fun adventure”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

We did this tour in the rain, and it was a lot of fun regardless. We were able to see Cape Trib from a different perspective and were able to go over water streams, one of which they held us over for more than a moment or two. It was really terrific, would do this again.
