“Escape to the sland”
Reviewed 7 April 2013

Day trippers on a hire boat or travellers going by a charter can not fail to enjoy the experience of Hinchinbrook. This` is one location where the journey is as enjoyable as the destination. Don't forget the camera with a spare battery & memory chip.

“Tropical island rainforest”
Reviewed 3 January 2013

A very tropical rain forested island north of Townsville known for a diverse ecology that enhances natural at her best. Great place for forest walks however caution is required. Spent overnight in a creek bed one night after searching for the historical wartime liberator known to have crashed on the high peaks.
